Mhoraig & Iain, Engagement | Balquhidder, Monachyle Mhor

What a little gem to share with you today! I met with the very lovely Mhoraig and Iain for their engagement session in Balquhidder, north of Callander in the stunning Trossachs area. They chose this location for their shoot as it is so special to them both. Mhoraig has some very happy childhood memories, holidaying in the family caravan at Balqhidder and has taken Iain to visit many times :)

We met up at the local tearoom, a gorgeous little place which in fact was closing for winter the very next day, which made it all the more special :) We walked around the village for a while before driving along the road to the very beautiful Monachyle Mhor Hotel, where Mhoraig and Iain were engaged :) Monachyle Mhor is an utterly beautiful boutique hotel nestled amidst a stunning lochside location. I was more than a little excited about doing this shoot!!

I'm very, very much looking forward to their wedding day in January at House for and Art Lover in Glasgow -yippeeee!

Katy and Dave Wedding | Harbour Cafe, Venachar Lochside, Callander

Got a little gem of a wedding to share with you today :) 

Pamela Denny has been 2nd shooting for me at a few weddings this year, she asked if I could assist her at Katy and Dave's wedding and I'm thrilled I was able to pop along for a few hours!

The Wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Harbour Cafe / Venechar Lochside  near Callander in the stunning Trossachs countryside. Katy and Dave were lucky enough to have their humanist ceremony outside, the scottish drizzle subsiding long enough to soak up the breathtaking scenery :)

Katy looked stunning and I just loved her bold choice of turquoise bridesmaid's dresses and gorgeous scarf, all inspired by her beautiful dragonfly necklace from a recent holiday to turkey, the blue tones tied in beautifully with the slightly overcast purply blue sky on the day.

Thanks to Pamela for inviting me to come along for the day and huge Congratulations to the lovely Katy and Dave.
