Ann's Graduation

Saturday was a very special day for us Campbells.  My Mother in Law Graduated from the Open University with a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing. We are all so very proud, the last few years have been a very trying time for Ann, and our family but she's proved that with courage and determination and little help from friends, anything is possible.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

The day began with some decedent afternoon tea!

Although Nieve preferred to munch on a rather some delightful Lemons....

Wullie and Karen were proud as punch.

And so was Ann!

Time to go says Nieve! I feel a Graduation coming on....

Here is the Graduate herself with her good friends Lynne & Fiona, who both studied with Ann.

Ok so Wullie and Karen weren't graduating, but Ann requested a picture of them all gowned up together, slightly embarrassed but very proud as you can tell :)

Here is Ann with her tutor

and all the rabble together!

The camera retired at this point, and probably just as well! A fantastic night was had by all to end a brilliant day.  Congratulations again Ann, it is truly a magnificent achievement - well done.

All my love, Zoe xxx

Gemma & Jamie

Finally I am ready to introduce the lovely Gemma & Jamie! This was an emotional day as, not only were they getting married, but a few days later emigrating to Australia! where Jamie has a new job and had been living there for the past few months.

It all began on the morning of the 7th of May, 2011 at Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness...

I arrived bright and early to find a small hotel bedroom filled full of a very excitable bridal entourage.

Despite morning wedding stresses all was going well, especially after a touch of bubbly! Gemma was looking remarkably calm and collected as she prepared for the big day.

Then it was Jamie's turn! This is the first time Jamie and I met, mainly because he has been in Australia! It was lovely to finally put a face the name. Here is is with best man Danny.

The big moment had finally arrived, Gemma looked radiant as did her bridesmaids and flowergirls dressed in stunning royal blue.

It was a lovely, heartfelt ceremony, I most definitely had a tear in my eye as they said their vows.

Gemma and Jamie couldn't help but smile as they signed the register.

Celebration time! There was just enough time for the happy couple to relax with a drink before some group snaps.

Time to cut the cake, and what a cake, loved the royal blue and ivory colour scheme.

While the Bride and Groom were busy chatting I caught up with the flower girls.

Almost time for nosh, I went for a sneak peek at the tables, the flowers were stunning.

Speeches time!

It was a bit much at times...

After the speeches I had some alone time with the bride and groom....

The day flew in and before we knew it, it was first dance time...

I left the lovely couple dancing away with their wedding party, smiling insanely.
Something tells me it might have been a wild night, I'm sure lots of fun was had! Gemma was well prepared with special dancing trainers so I'm sure she was the last to leave the dance floor.

Gemma & Jamie, I was an absolute honour to photograph your wedding day, you are such genuine, loving people and I wish you all the luck in the world for your new life in Australia.
