Well I'm afraid I've let the last few weeks run away from me and have neglected my blog, well no more shall you be neglected!

My usual excuse I'm afraid, I have been somewhat preoccupied with this little monster...

Here she is in her new trike, an early birthday pressie from her Gran Ann & Auntie Karen.  Yes that's right, my little baby girl is going to be 1 on Friday!! I can't quite believe it, lovely pictures of the little diva at her birthday party will of course follow.

Nieve's first shoes!!

Nieve has gone from learning to crawl to walking within the last month, she's always been obsessed with being on her feet from a very young age and is extremely proud to be toddling around on her pins unaided.  To mark the occasion I took her to get her feet measured for shoes, she has very dinky (& expensive) feet, bless!

Glasgow/Philly

I was in Glasgow this week and had a good stroll around George Square, It's quite incredible! They have gone to great detail to transform this little corner of Glasgow into a mini Philadelphia for Brad Pitt's new film.  Sadly I didn't spot the man himself but there is still time! I was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed having a look around, there is such a nice buzz of excitement and interest, great place to be just now.

And finally, for those of you who know me well, you will know that I love to cook.  Juggling all that I am at the moment I don't often find the time to cook, but I try to as I really enjoy it and find it relaxing.  My husband is very thankful that I took a notion to rustling up these baby's last week, my god they were yummy!

Prepare to drool........The apple crumble cupcake, a labour of love but my goodness it was worth it.

Family Portrait Shoot with Cat, George, Freyja & Tavia

On Saturday I went to visit Cat and her kids for a little family time! 

Cat had her heart set on some lovely outdoor photos but sadly the Scottish weather put a stop to that! Normally I wouldn't shy away from a little rain but with 1 year old twins, not yet walking and some very heavy rain, we opted for the dry indoors instead.

My husband and I have many friends on this wonderful Scottish Island, if any of you are ever looking for a great weekend getaway Tiree is the place to be :)

Last week I had a lovely long weekend away with my Mum and Daughter, cracking time with a Zumba Class, Lunch at the Elephants End, a BIG walk to the Tirii Pottery (love, love!) and Chocolates & Charms,  BBQ on the beach and lots of lovely Sunshine!

I just had to share some of my holiday snaps, Tiree truely is a beautiful island and blows me away every time I'm there.

Thanks to all my wonderful Tiree friends for making it such an enjoyable weekend, and most of all to my lovely Mum - I had a wonderful time :)

Miss Freya, 2 weeks new

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Freya and her mummy & daddy.

Freya is just 2 weeks old and absolutely adorable, I'm sure you'll agree!

Ann's Graduation

Saturday was a very special day for us Campbells.  My Mother in Law Graduated from the Open University with a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing. We are all so very proud, the last few years have been a very trying time for Ann, and our family but she's proved that with courage and determination and little help from friends, anything is possible.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

The day began with some decedent afternoon tea!

Although Nieve preferred to munch on a rather some delightful Lemons....

Wullie and Karen were proud as punch.

And so was Ann!

Time to go says Nieve! I feel a Graduation coming on....

Ok so Wullie and Karen weren't graduating, but Ann requested a picture of them all gowned up together, slightly embarrassed but very proud as you can tell :)

The camera retired at this point, and probably just as well! A fantastic night was had by all to end a brilliant day.  Congratulations again Ann, it is truly a magnificent achievement - well done.
