I am very pleased to introduce this little handsome man, Gwion.  Here is is photographed at 10 days new - owh!

I love photographing newborns, it's such a special time and I feel a great sense of honour being able to capture these first days of life.

Thank you Nicola (Gwion's Mum) for your patience.

Susan & Ross, Inverness Wedding

Susan & Ross, 4th August 2011

At the beginning of the month I had the immense pleasure of attending the wedding of my good friends Susan and Ross.

I have known them both since School and apparently responsible for them getting together on the last day of school, I won't go into detail ;0) I was extremely honoured when they asked me to photograph their day, however I sadly had to turn them down... I had waited a long time to watch my friends get married and I wanted to let my hair down and enjoy the day.

I did, however willingly snap away throughout the day, here are a few of my favourites....

The day started at Susan & Ross's house in Milton of Leys, where Susan and her bridesmaids where getting ready.  Susan's Sister in Law expertly applied the makeup whilst her Sister Ann, eh... provided the lunch ;0)

Susan's dress was stunning and suited her perfectly.

The very clever bridesmaid dresses from Dessy called the twist dress in a lovely blue colour

I just love this picture of Susan, she looks so natural and elegant, just stunning!

Excitement mounts as Susan gets into the Car to meet her childhood sweetheart.

The Ceremony at Davoit Church was just lovely, Ross and Susan couldn't stop smiling, I love how happy and confident Susan looks going up the Aisle.

Daviot Church is a gorgeous little church!

After a few snaps at the church we all made our way to the wedding reception at Loch Ness Country House Hotel.  What a lovely hotel, we recieved a warm reception from friendly staff and a much appreciated glass of bubbly :0)

Ross getting stuck in and Spud the piper in action!

The tables were named after corners from F1 Circuits, Ross is a (BIG) F1 fan.  Time had been taken to print little pictures of all the guests as labels for the favours, a lovely little touch.  Really kitsch little shot glasses with all sorts of funny cartoons were handed out as favours, lovely idea.

Susan's shoes...these are just so Susan and I was thrilled she wore them on the day, I love when brides choose accessories that really say something about themselves.
Ross bought these shoes for Susan - owh bless!

Susan and Ross, thank you so much for making me a part of your special day, Susan you looked absolutely stunning, and Ross you were looking pretty dapper too.  Your both amazing people and deserve the very best of happiness and I wish you nothing less.

All my Love,

Catchup!

Well I'm afraid I've let the last few weeks run away from me and have neglected my blog, well no more shall you be neglected!

My usual excuse I'm afraid, I have been somewhat preoccupied with this little monster...

Nieve riding her Trike

Here she is in her new trike, an early birthday pressie from her Gran Ann & Auntie Karen.  Yes that's right, my little baby girl is going to be 1 on Friday!! I can't quite believe it, lovely pictures of the little diva at her birthday party will of course follow.

More exciting, Nieve related & other things from my iphone this week to share...

Nieve's first shoes!!
Nieve has gone from learning to crawl to walking within the last month, she's always been obsessed with being on her feet from a very young age and is extremely proud to be toddling around on her pins unaided.  To mark the occasion I took her to get her feet measured for shoes, she has very dinky (& expensive) feet, bless!

Monsieur Nieve if u please

Being a lady of leisure Nieve just loves a good babyccino, just like mummy's (with less caffine!)

Glasgow/Philly
I was in Glasgow this week and had a good stroll around George Square, It's quite incredible! They have gone to great detail to transform this little corner of Glasgow into a mini Philadelphia for Brad Pitt's new film.  Sadly I didn't spot the man himself but there is still time! I was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed having a look around, there is such a nice buzz of excitement and interest, great place to be just now.

And finally, for those of you who know me well, you will know that I love to cook.  Juggling all that I am at the moment I don't often find the time to cook, but I try to as I really enjoy it and find it relaxing.  My husband is very thankful that I took a notion to rustling up these baby's last week, my god they were yummy!

Prepare to drool........The apple crumble cupcake, a labour of love but my goodness it was worth it.

Apple Cupcake with homemade custard cream and crumble - YUM!
Ok, now that I have my excuses out the way I can get on with showing you what I've been up to in the world of photography - woopee!

Hope everyone is good!

Much Love Zoe x

Family Portrait Shoot with Cat, George, Freyja & Tavia

On Saturday I went to visit Cat and her kids for a little family time!

Cat had her heart set on some lovely outdoor photos but sadly the Scottish weather put a stop to that! Normally I wouldn't shy away from a little rain but with 1 year old twins, not yet walking and some very heavy rain, we opted for the dry indoors instead.

Here is a snapshot of my time with this lovely family.
